University art museum offers new exhibits for bicentennial
The Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum is celebrating Louisiana's bicentennial year of statehood, and the museum's curator, Lee Gray, Ph.D., gave a preview of what the museum currently offers in addition to upcoming events. Alumnus uses Verm, Facebook to find future fiancée
Jaqueline Lassiter, voted Most Eligible Bachelorette by The Vermilion in 2010, is now officially off the market and happily engaged to Max Hutson. The UL alumnus acknowledged a mutual two-year attraction prior to meeting, but the couple did not personally know each other until Hutson found Lassiter's name in an issue of The Vermilion.

Atypical classes offered for curious UL students
