After 14 seasons as the Head Coach for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns soccer team, Scot Wieland has resigned, according to a report from KLFY.
"We greatly appreciate Scot's efforts in leading the Louisiana Soccer program, and for being a positive influence in the lives of so many student-athletes," Director of Athletics Bryan Maggard said. "We wish Scot the very best with his future endeavors."
Wieland, who started coaching at Louisiana in 2004, had a record of 93-143-32.
Assistant coach Lisa Mann will serve as the acting director of the Soccer program as a new search for a head coach begins.
