Officers responded a student making threatening remarks toward a professor at 2:16 p.m. in Moody Hall. The situation was referred to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities.

Jan. 18

An individual reported via phone call an alleged assault that occurred at the Rio Ball at the Cajundome Convention Center on Jan. 6. The individual reported that the assailant is unknown.

Jan. 19

A female individual reported hearing a loud noise, and possibly a physical altercation, from the right side of the Trahan apartment building at Legacy Park at 1:05 a.m. Officers made contact with two occupants of a nearby apartment, a University of Louisiana at Lafayette student Jailyn Stevenson, and non-student, Patrick Wiltz. It was later discovered the noise was coming from a television, and Wiltz had been warned previously not to return to UL Lafayette campus property. Stevenson was referred to Student Rights and Responsibilities.

Jan. 20

Officers responded to a report of theft from Huger Hall at 8:32 p.m., in which a few clothing items and towels were allegedly stolen.

Jan. 21

Officers were dispatched to Agnes Edwards Hall (formerly the Conference Center) at 11:14 p.m in response to a student with the possible intent to commit suicide.
