Tito Giuffrida, Vice President of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Catania, officially announces his candidacy to the National Council of the Order, as representative of Sicily in the list led by Claudio Siciliotti, former National President and reference figure for the profession.
Giuffrida brings with her a clear mandate: to finally give weight and voice to Sicily in the places where the future of the category is decided.
“I am running because I feel a responsibility that comes from below, from colleagues, from the territories. I do so alongside Claudio Siciliotti, a leader who has always put ideas before interests, and the democratic method over unique thinking. Together we can bring balance, listening and concreteness back to national order life”, declares Giuffrida.
After having built one of the most cohesive and participatory teams in Italy in Catania, Giuffrida is ready to represent a professional Sicily that does not ask for favors, but for respect. “We can no longer be simple spectators. Sicily has energy, skills, vision: it deserves to sit with authority where the strategic lines of our profession are drawn.”
At the center of his agenda:
• Reform of the profession with the real contribution of the territories
• Enhancement of skills, against any centralist logic
• Protection of the new generations, too often on the margins of choices
• Defense of the dignity of professional work, today under growing pressure
Giuffrida reiterates the desire to give voice to all those local Orders who feel distant from the rooms where decisions are made: “With Siciliotti we have a common mission: to bring discussion, pluralism and the dignity of dissent back to the center of our institution.”
His candidacy thus presents itself not only as a Sicilian choice, but as a choice for a new style of representation: more open, more authentic, more courageous.
