There will certainly be an extraordinary “one-off” contribution of 90 euros for families already benefiting from the social bonus, the discount on the bill linked to the ISEE.
For those who do not have a social bonus but have an ISEE not exceeding 25,000 euros, the government provides that – for the years 2026 and 2027 – electricity sellers can recognize their resident domestic customers with an extraordinary contribution to cover the purchase of electricity “as a discount on the contractual conditions” applied by the seller who owns the supplies.
The most substantial chapter concerns measures to lower the final cost of the gas bill by reducing charges and tariff components linked to transport and distribution for industrial customers. The text also includes measures to accelerate connections to the grid of plants powered by renewable sources; the strengthening of interconnections with foreign countries and rules for competition and integration of gas markets; interventions on general system costs related to bioenergy.
