A Ukrainian attack in the Kherson oblast, territory belonging to Kiev but occupied by Moscow’s army, hit a headquarters of the Russian secret service FSB in the Kherson oblast, in the south of the country, causing a massacre of soldiers. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky announced it on his social media channels.
“The soldiers of the special operations center” of the Kiev security service “achieved excellent results,” the post reads. “A Russian FSB headquarters was hit and a Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile system was destroyed,” continues the Ukrainian president.
“Thanks to this single operation, Russian losses amount to around a hundred occupants killed and wounded. The Russians – explains Zelensky – must feel the need to put an end to this war. The medium and long-term sanctions will continue to work”.

The Kremlin says Russia is open to dialogue with Europe
Meanwhile, signs of détente continue to arrive from Moscow. “In the last 3-4 weeks – says Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov -, we have heard statements from the President of Finland Alecander Stubb and also statements from Berlin according to which sooner or later it will be necessary to speak directly to the Russians. The Russians are ready to participate. We believe that talking is always better than arriving at a direct confrontation which is exactly what the Europeans are doing now. If the Europeans have changed their ways – concludes Peskov -, we welcome this development”.
