Missing a plane can cost you a vacation, a connection or a lot of money. However, two passengers at Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow would have chosen a solution that was decidedly outside the rules: to reach the plane directly on the apron, complete with a trolley in tow. According to the reconstruction, the episode occurred on 25 July 2026 and involved two women who arrived too late to board an Aeroflot flight. Instead of returning to the company desks, they would have managed to access the operational area of the airport and would have started heading towards their plane which was already in the process of departing.
The presence of the two passengers would have forced the ground staff to interrupt the operation. Airport staff and agents then intervened, removing both and preventing them from boarding the plane. When the gate is closed, the only possibility is to contact the company to understand if the ticket can be changed or if it is necessary to purchase a new flight.
