iRobot Corporation presented the new Roomba Max 875 Combo: top of the range robot with new and advanced technologies on board, starting with the exclusive SealForce suction system. Solution that rethinks from a mechanical point of view the way in which a robot vacuum cleaner comes into contact with carpets.
Rather than relying on suction alone, the frame lowers a seal that adheres firmly to the fibers, concentrating the suction power exactly where the dirt lurks. Combined with an air flow of 20 L/s and a suction power of 35,000 Pa, SealForce promises 3 times deeper carpet cleaning and the best dirt collection capacity ever achieved by iRobot.
iRobot’s ThermaMist ultrasonic technology continuously delivers a hot mist while washing floors, softening and dissolving dry and encrusted dirt: the most stubborn stains are thus removed in a single cycle, with 2 times greater effectiveness, according to the company’s declarations. iRobot’s new PowerSpin Max scrubber, the largest in the industry, continuously self-cleans and scrubs with hot water at 300 rpm, applying 18 newtons of downward pressure, for 3.75 times deeper scrubbing action and 1.2 times wider coverage with each pass.
Finally, Roomba Max 875 Combo integrates the patented DriLift technology, based on AI, which automatically detects rugs and carpets and, consequently, raises the floor cleaner roller and lowers a protective barrier, keeping textile surfaces dry for the entire cleaning cycle.

- PerfectEdge technology extends the roller up to 45 mm along walls and skirting boards; the Edge-Sweeping side brush intervenes in the corners, expanding outwards.
- Double anti-tangle system, consisting of an Edge-Sweeping spiral side brush and a main brush that breaks up hair and hair, ideal in homes with pets and people with long hair.
- The AutoWash charging base washes the roller with hot water at 80°C, dries it with hot air at 55°C, automatically doses the concentrated StayClean detergent and empties the container into an AllergenLock activated carbon bag, ensuring up to 90 days of cleaning without manual intervention.
- ClearView Pro dual-line lidar for intelligent room-to-room navigation; PrecisionVision AI recognizes and avoids over 300 common objects in the home.
- Ultra-thin 9.98cm design, for cleaning under low furniture and crossing thresholds up to 3.5cm.

The new Roomba Max 875 Combo robot + AutoWash base will be available in white and black colors starting from December, at the price of €1,190.00.
