McDonald’s (restaurant chain) opens a new restaurant in Fino Mornasco (Como) and is looking for 30 people to join its staff. The operation is part of the group’s national growth plan, which envisages the hiring of 5 thousand workers throughout Italy in 2026. The selections are open online and will end in the second half of September with the local stop of the McDonald’s Job Tour, the traveling event with which the company selects staff in the territories affected by the new openings.
Over 900 points of sale
Last year, the shared value generated by McDonald’s in Italy exceeded 2.5 billion euros. The company has consolidated its national network with the opening of around 50 new restaurants, exceeding the threshold of 800 active premises. The overall employment impact of the chain in Italy stands at over 35 thousand employees, included in a multi-year plan which aims to reach 900 points of sale and a total investment of 800 million euros by 2027.
How to apply
To participate in the first selection phase you have until September 14th. Interested candidates must access the McDonalds.it website, fill out a questionnaire and upload their curriculum vitae. Those who are eligible will receive an invitation to complete an aptitude test designed to identify the main strengths of the profiles. Those who pass this phase will also receive a formal invitation with date and time for individual on-site interviews.
The profiles sought
The company, we read in a note, focuses on candidates who “have a propensity for teamwork, willingness to contact customers and the intention to get involved”. The placement will take place in a working context characterized by a strong group identity, a low average age and a meritocratic approach.
On the contractual front, the chain declares that permanent and stable contracts cover 95% of the total workforce employed in its premises. The company supports the initial placement with a structured training program, designed to guarantee the possibility of rapid professional advancement and internal career paths.
The final stage
Final interviews will take place during the McDonald’s Job Tour day in Fino Mornasco. On this occasion, candidates will be able to meet directly with employees already working at restaurants in the area. The staff employed will be present to talk about their operational experience and provide practical details on daily working life within the catering network.
