On the occasion of the Snapdragon Summit, Motorola unveiled a preview of the new signature 27: top-of-the-range smartphone with advanced features and made with high-quality materials.
Going into detail, Motorola signature 27 will be one of the first smartphones to use the new and very powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. This new generation platform brings with it powerful on-device AI capabilities, improved photographic experiences, very high performance in video games, with a 2 nm production process. Processor cooled by the innovative system called ArcticMesh, which uses thermal gel, liquid metal and an advanced vapor chamber.
Motorola signature 27 also boasts a complete photographic section. On board we find a 50 MP Sony Lytia 910 sensor as the main camera, flanked by a 200 MP periscopic telephoto lens. For videos there is a new Enhancement Engine that uses AI to analyze the scene and adjust elements such as hue and color rendering in real time. The device includes image stabilization from Qualcomm Technologies that works in synergy with the device’s hardware, making moving and handheld shooting smoother and more stable.
Audio also sets a new standard on the Motorola signature 27. The first Motorola smartphone to integrate audio by B&O, the result of the recently announced multi-year partnership with Bang & Olufsen.
The new Motorola signature 27 continues the design evolution of the signature series. A device made with a refined design, it uses an aluminum frame with rounded edges and a photographic module that combines ceramic and brushed aluminium. The Motorola signature 27 will be available in two original finishes:
- Pantone Coal Smoke is inspired by automotive engineering and sportswear.
- Pantone Capulet Olive in a brushed finish inspired by luxury fashion and interior design.
As for the Android-based operating system, Motorola promises seven years of updates. Furthermore, the new Motorola signature 27 will be the first smartphone with official support for GrapheneOS, an open source mobile operating system based on Android, designed to offer maximum levels of security and privacy.
Availability and price
At the moment there is no precise information on the availability of the smartphone. Motorola has announced an international distribution during 2026, but has not yet communicated the launch date, complete technical data sheet and price.
