Corsair presented the new Tc80 gaming chair. Subjected to over 30 rigorous safety and resistance tests, the Tc80 combines an ergonomic design designed for daily well-being with high durability.
The wide and flat seat, the high-density padding and the breathable fabric covering with imitation leather details promise high and long-lasting comfort, ideal for long gaming, work and entertainment sessions. A removable neck pillow increases the level of support, while self-leveling armrests help maintain a comfortable position even when reclining. In the lower part we find a 5-spoke steel base, 50 mm wheels and a Class 4 steel gas lift.
The Tc80 boasts a height adjustment capability of 100mm, as well as the ability to continuously recline from 90° to 115°, allowing users to lock the chair at their preferred angle rather than being limited to predefined angles.
The Tc80 has undergone an extensive test program which has certified its structural solidity and resistance to daily wear and tear. Among the most significant tests include:
- Impact load resistance test: drop of a 136 kg weight on the center of the seat.
- Backrest load test: application of a force of 1,001 N on the backrest for one minute.
- Forward tipping test: application of a force of 600 N at the points most subject to the risk of tipping.
- Back stability test: load of 13 weights on the backrest to check its stability.
- Seat durability test: 100,000 cycles with the repeated impact of a 57 kg weight on the seat.
- Recline mechanism test: 300,000 recline cycles with a load of 109 kg applied to the center of the seat.
By passing these rigorous tests, the Tc80 complies with Bifma X5.1 and En 1335 standards.
