Alphabet presented Gemini 4 Argon, the most advanced artificial intelligence model created to date, which offers important improvements in “programming, cybersecurity and complex professional work”.
The characteristics
The company said the model sets a new record in real-world software engineering, ranks jointly first in cybersecurity and excels in another benchmark that measures performance in finance, law and other professional activities, it said in a statement.
Security in AI
The release of the model comes a day after Chief Executive Sundar Pichai signed a voluntary agreement with President Donald Trump and top tech executives at the White House, following a lunch where they discussed concerns about the safety of artificial intelligence.
Gemini 4 arrives almost a year after Gemini 3, helping to put Alphabet back at the center of competition in the AI modeling industry.
The new model represents a further step forward in Google’s strategy, which also focuses on the development of more compact and faster models, capable of offering high performance at lower costs.
