The news comes about a month after the release of iOS 18.2 which introduced numerous new features relating especially to Apple Intelligence. iOS and iPadOS 18.2.1 are aimed exclusively at the resolution Of bugs that is able to improve the user experience and make the products used more stable: for this reason the devices should be updated by accessing, as always, the General section, entering Software Update and following the procedures described. The term bug refers to a functional software defect.
Which models can be updated
Industry experts explain that this new update is available for all iPhones since the XS onwards including the second and third generation iPhone SE. But what does it mean when we talk about bugs? Other devices that can be upgraded include the 13-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro 3rd generation and later, 11-inch iPad Pro 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad seventh generation and later and fifth generation iPad mini and later.
When iOS 18.3 arrives
While waiting for iOS 18 to arrive in the next few weeks (there is no official date).
3, for now the second public beta of the update has been released which promises some new features: according to the rumors circulating online, some changes to the Calculator app which will also guarantee the execution of operations of a certain complexity without problems. For now there don’t seem to be any major differences with the current functions, which could happen in the coming months with iOS 18.4.
