Doctors forced to ask men if they are 'pregnant'

The lack of common sense is now a constant in a West increasingly bowing to religion woke. But perhaps a piece of news like the one reported by the Telegraph rightfully ends up among the most incredible follies ever: the new guidelines of the British National Health Service ask doctors to check if men are “pregnant” before an x-ray. The nonsensical question should be asked to all patients between the ages of 12 and 55.

The news is linked to an episode recorded in an English hospital, where a transgender man, that is, born a woman, was pregnant and underwent a CT scan. Hence the exaggerated inclusivity, forcing doctors and nurses not to make assumptions about trans, non-binary or intersex patients. As highlighted by the British newspaper, radiation from X-rays, CT scans and MRIs, as well as cancer treatments, can be dangerous for fetuses, but the modules designed to be inclusive have caused confusion and anger among patients and pose a risk to their safety, according to NHS staff.

In fact, it is about a “humiliating” practice according to professionals, who have asked the national health service to “return to common sense”. Many testimonies have been collected in recent days: a man, struck by cancer, was so annoyed by these crazy questions that he left the hospital ward without undergoing the examination. With such stupid questions it is quite understandable to observe reactions of this type, with sick patients offended or embarrassed by certain questions. Asking a man if he is pregnant is not normal and it is natural that he asks some questions about his sex. Without forgetting the repercussions on minors, who could be “indoctrinated” through certain questions, starting with preferred pronouns. The zenith of woke.

“Since it is impossible for any male to get pregnant, there is no need to ask males if they could be pregnant, and thus avoid a lot of embarrassment and upset. If someone identifies as transgender or non-binary and their records indicate that they are biologically female, then they can be respectfully questioned about the possibility of pregnancy. The proposed radiographic guidelines muddy the waters by including so-called intersex conditions,” the sensible analysis of Dr Louise Irvine, who will probably be called a homophobe by some wiseguy for simply reporting science and not Taliban ideology.

This is one of the worst examples of inclusion politics, because it is based on fundamentalism. A humiliating farce, but above all a foolish waste of time. But unfortunately it is not new…
