TP-Link presented the world’s first Wi-Fi 8 range at Ifa 2026, led by the new Archer 8 Ultra router and the Deco 8 Ultra Mesh Wi-Fi system.

Wi-Fi 8 does not aim exclusively at increasing connection speed, but was created to address some of the problems that most impact the daily experience of users: less effective coverage in the most distant areas of the home, congestion generated by a growing number of devices that use the network at the same time and interference that can compromise the stability of the connection.
To meet these needs, Tp-Link introduces Wi-Fi 8 StabilityEngine, the technology behind Archer 8 Ultra and Deco 8 Ultra, developed to improve coverage, manage congestion more efficiently and reduce interference, thus ensuring a more uniform and stable connection throughout the home.
Archer 8 Ultra and Deco 8 Ultra
Archer 8 Ultra is a tri-band Wi-Fi 8 router capable of up to 19 Gbps aggregate wireless speeds and up to 10 Gbps wired connectivity. thanks also to the 18 internal antennas. Archer 8 Ultra adopts a minimalist design, with integrated lighting capable of communicating the status of the device by replacing traditional router LEDs.
Deco 8 Ultra, on the other hand, is Tp-Link’s new tri-band Wi-Fi 8 Mesh system, capable of offering aggregate wireless speeds of up to 22 Gbps and wired connectivity of up to 10 Gbps. The configuration consisting of three units allows you to cover a surface area of up to approximately 910 m² and supports over 200 devices connected simultaneously.
Deco 8 Ultra boasts soft lines and compact dimensions that allow it to be easily inserted into different rooms of the house.
