Hypershell presented Halo, its new “Full-leg” exoskeleton, at the 2026 edition of Ifa. Halo is the industry’s first exoskeleton to coordinate four motorized hip and knee joints into a single system.
Hypershell Unified Architecture
Halo features the Hypershell Unified Architecture, an industry first. A carbon fiber load-bearing structure runs through the hip, thigh, knee and lower leg. This allows all four powered joints to operate as a single coordinated system for the entire leg, providing propulsion, load support and descent control.
The Halo structure was designed to guarantee maximum freedom of movement. The innovative Fish-Spine adaptive joint connects the hip motor to the leg lever, allowing the structure to follow the leg’s natural movement rather than locking onto a fixed mechanical axis. Offering up to 198° of lateral excursion and 167° of antero-posterior movement, it allows for fluid, multi-directional movement in different postures.

Over 30 high-precision HyperSense Pro sensors continuously capture lower body movements, while the HyperCore Pro AI chip processes them in real time. Trained on over 10,000 hours of motion data, HyperIntuition 2.0 can anticipate motion intent by approximately 200 milliseconds and adjust assistance up to 2,500 times per second.
HyperDrive Pro

The innovative Halo HyperDrive Pro quad-motor system delivers peak power of up to 1,490W to the entire leg and supports a maximum assisted speed of 17 km/h without burdening the wearer. The motorized hip and knee joints work together to share extension, load and braking torque in the most demanding movements, reducing knee muscle fatigue by up to 40% during squats, and helping to lift the body during climbs and cushion repeated impacts as the terrain changes.
The new Hypershell PocketVolt battery weighs just 370g and offers up to 20km of range in a compact, removable design.

At just 2.6kg, Halo offers full leg support in a design meant for all-day wear. Its aerospace-grade carbon fiber and titanium construction combines the resistance needed for impacts, high-speed movements and the most challenging terrains. It folds down to a volume of less than 8 liters and can be stored in a backpack.
Halo also includes Shelly, the first AI-powered virtual assistant developed specifically for exoskeletons. Through voice or messaging communication, users can configure the device, personalize assistance and plan routes, while Shelly gradually learns their movement habits and preferences to make support more intuitive over time.
Price and availability
The first 200 units of Halo will launch as Origin Edition; each featuring an exclusive logo, unique production number and additional benefits. The Origin Edition, available for pre-order starting from 2,299 euros, can already be purchased in Europe, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Official sales and deliveries will begin in November. Further pricing and launch details for other versions will be announced closer to the availability date.
