The first quarter of 2026 closes with strongly growing numbers for Iliad Italia: turnover reaches 331 million euros, with an increase of 11.2% compared to the same period of 2025. The telephone operator has also exceeded the threshold of 13.2 million active users in the mobile and fixed segments as of 31 March 2026.
Growing margins and more liquidity
Ebitdaal – the indicator that measures operating profitability net of rents and leasing – stands at 111 million euros, with an increase of 25.3% compared to the 89 million recorded in the first quarter of 2025. The growth in operating free cash flow, i.e. the liquidity generated by the activity, is even more marked: +156% compared to the same period of the previous year, for a total of 59 million euros.
The CEO’s comment
“Quarter after quarter, our economic-financial indicators continue to improve, confirming the validity of our strategy and the choices we have carried out”, declared Benedetto Levi, CEO of Iliad, in a note made in recent hours. “Almost eight years after our entry into the market, we continue to pursue with determination the ambition with which we started: investing in latest generation infrastructures and changing the rules of the game, building every day a transparent and lasting relationship of trust with what are now more than 13 million users,” he added.
The group’s results at a global level
On a consolidated level, the Iliad group recorded revenues of 2.6 billion euros in the quarter, up 2.9%. The group’s Ebitdaal stood at 942 million (+1.2%), while the overall operating free cash flow reached 591 million, with an increase of 17.6%. The group’s financial structure appears to be improving: debt leverage fell to 2.2 times at the end of March 2026.
