While in recent days along the corridors of Italian politics, the voice of an imaginative government crisis ran, the worried left of the event tried to demonstrate the madness of such a hypothesis to the electorate. And so yesterday, in the assembly of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party in which we wondered “And now what bullshit are we inventing?” – Dario Franceschini suddenly shouted: “I have an idea!”. And unfortunately he said it. “Let’s make a bill to give children only the mother’s surname!” Why? “Boh … let’s say it is compensation for a secular injustice, the source of all gender inequalities”. They applauded it.
And so the left, with an exemplary timing and once again demonstrating to be in perfect harmony with the problems of the voters, solved millennia of patriarchate and male favoritism in an afternoon. Moreover, Franceschini himself, who has the surname of his father, a partisan then deputy DC, if he brought that of his mother, holy woman but unknown, would hardly have come where. And, to want to be bad, even his daughters …
