Motorcycle "skewered" in the traffic lights after a flight: the collision with a car at the intersection in Canada

On May 9, a violent accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred in Delta (Canada). The two vehicles collided at an intersection: the centaur hit the right front headlight of the car at high speed. The force of the collision was such that the two-wheeler ended up on the traffic light at the intersection and remained hanging there.

The accident, as reported by the Canadian public service CBC, occurred around 3pm in the town of British Columbia. The scene of the impact was the intersection at 7100 Scott Road between 72nd Avenue and 120th Street.

According to a police statement, the motorcyclist suffered serious but non-fatal injuries. The driver of the car was unharmed. The Delta Fire Department, Iaff local section 1763, said in a Facebook post that some of their members responded to the scene and provided assistance to those involved in the accident. The firefighters made the area safe and subsequently removed the motorcycle from the traffic light.

Witnesses who witnessed the scene couldn’t believe their eyes: “I’ve never seen anything like it. It was like being in a movie”, commented one of the passers-by.
