Nothing presented the new Phone series (4a): mid-range smartphones that combine an innovative semi-transparent design, new colors, advanced cameras and interesting performance thanks to Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

A distinctive design
The latest generation of Nothing’s smartphones boasts an updated version of the iconic semi-transparent design that has always distinguished the English company’s mobile phones.
Phone (4a) Pro sets a new design standard with a metal unibody
and a thickness of only 7.95 mm, the thinnest ever made by Nothing. The metallic finish promises a premium tactile experience, improved cooling thanks to a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber and resistance to dust and liquids, with Ip65 certification.
The upper area integrates a transparent “window” with the cameras and the second Glyph Matrix display. Let’s not forget the silver and black colors, to which is added the new metallic pink variant.
Phone (4a) stands out for its semi-transparent glass back which allows a glimpse of some internal components. Here we also find the new Glyph Bar: innovative LED user interface, made up of 7 square elements. Let’s not forget the IP64 protection from dust and liquids and the new colours: transparent blue and soft pink in addition to the traditional white and black.
Complete photographic section
Both smartphones boast a complete photographic sector with a 50 Mp main camera, a powerful zoom and a wide angle. In particular, the Phone (4a) Pro stands out, equipped with a Sony main sensor and a periscope telephoto lens with digital zoom up to 140x. Phone (4a) instead uses a zoom of up to 70x. Let’s not forget the powerful 32 Mp selfie camera.
Glyph Interface

Nothing’s Glyph interface is much more than a light system; is a functional and playful visual language designed to reduce distractions and avoid having to rotate your phone.
Phone (4a) introduces a Glyph Bar with 63 mini-LEDs in 7 square light areas. Phone (4a) Pro raises the bar with the Glyph Matrix, a second screen on the rear made up of 137
mini-Led derived directly from the top of the range Phone (3). Display with various functions: battery, timer, digital clock, mirror function and more. Glyph Interface which allows, on both smartphones, to set personalized light patterns for calls and notifications.
Nothing OS

The new Phones (4a) use the Nothing Os 4.1 operating system, based on Android 16, designed to be essential, intuitive and truly useful. It offers a cleaner interface with redesigned icons, a revamped lock screen, and a deeper dark mode. Multitasking is easier and there is no shortage of useful widgets of various kinds.
Nothing will guarantee 3 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches.
Display
Both smartphones boast advanced and fast displays. Phone (4a) Pro uses a 6.83-inch Amoled, with 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. Nothing Phone (4a) adopts a 6.78-inch Amoled display with 1.5K (1,224×2,720) resolution, 120 Hz frequency and peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
Both screens are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which is resistant to scratches and a 1 meter drop, allowing users to place the phone screen face down without worry and fully enjoy the semi-transparent design and Glyph Interface.
Processors
Phone (4a) Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which offers a 27% faster CPU, 30% improved graphics and 65% improved AI capabilities compared to the previous model. Powered by the latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, Phone (4a) offers 7% faster CPU and graphics and 10% improved power efficiency compared to its predecessor.
Drums

The Nothing Phone (4th) series is powered by a 5,080 mAh battery. 50W fast charging brings the battery to 60% in just 30 minutes. The advanced battery health management system guarantees over 90% capacity after 1,200 charging cycles, equivalent to more than three years of daily charging.
