Today in Isola Dovarese Terra Fiume was presented, the festival that celebrates cycling tourism in the Cremona area. The event, scheduled for the months of September and October, offers four weekends dedicated to the discovery of suggestive cycling routes immersed in the beauty of the Lombard countryside, along the rivers Adda, Oglio and Po. Participants will be able to explore enchanting landscapes, visit historic farmhouses and parish churches, and participate in cultural and gastronomic events that enhance local excellence.
Barbara Mazzali, Councilor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion of the Lombardy Region, stressed the importance of initiatives like this for the promotion of the landscape, food and wine and cultural heritage of the region. “The bicycle is the ideal means to live unique experiences, which combine nature, sport, relaxation, culture and taste – he declared-. Thanks to the new SellaGo app, cycle tourists will be able to explore our territory in a personalized way, following itineraries that interface with the 4,000 km of cycle paths present in Lombardy.”
Mazzali he then explained how this app, developed with the contribution of the Lombardy Region and in collaboration with Confcommercio Province of Cremona, allows you to create a truly great Lombard itinerary on the digital platform. “With SellaGo, cycle tourists can plan their trip based on their needs, with updated information on accommodation, restaurants, service stations and places of cultural and historical interest. This tool allows us to make the most of our cycle paths, integrating them into a single route that crosses the whole of Lombardy, promoting sustainable and quality tourism”.

The festival, which will take place between September and October, is an invitation to discover the Cremonese in an authentic way, pedaling through villages, villas, farmhouses and along the banks of rivers. “The bicycle is the perfect means to tell the story of a unitary and attractive territory – concluded the councilor -. Pedaling together means not only exploring new places, but also learning important values such as knowledge of one’s own territory, respect for communities that through opportunities to build communities of friends, lessons that our young people will carry with them for their entire lives.”
The inauguration of the cycle path festival will be held on September 7 and 8 with the tour ‘Between Oglio and Postumia’, followed by other itineraries on the following weekends: ‘The routes of the Adda’ (September 21-22), ‘Between Villas and Farmhouses’ (October 5-6), and ‘Between Po, Pievi and Farmhouses’ (October 19-20).
