The United Italian Societies (Uis) association presented the 2026 edition of the Italian Symposium. The organisation, founded and managed by Italian students abroad, today has a network of 11 thousand members in over 60 universities distributed in 8 countries. The event is configured as a forum for debate between students and representatives of institutions, the economy and culture.

Five cities on the calendar
This year’s calendar touches five cities. After opening in Paris from 4 to 6 March, the program will continue in London from 9 to 13 March. The next stops are set in New York (18-19 April), Madrid (22-24 April) and Zurich (8-9 May).
The London stage, entitled “Innovare audere: a future-ready Italy”, will involve the London school of economics, Imperial college London, Ucl and King’s college London. Among the over twenty expected speakers are Alberto Angela, Andrea Agnelli, Nicola Gratteri, Elsa Fornero, Francesca Carlesi and Alessandro Profumo.
The symposium and the organizers
The Symposium is organized by a team of students and young professionals. UIS is led by Ferdinando Prencipe (CEO), Niccolò Klinger (CFO) and Sara Belluzzo (Chief of Institutional Affairs), together with an international board and over 100 volunteers active in the network. The London edition is coordinated by Maria Eto Oukazzi, Edoardo Cocchi, Co-Heads of the Symposium and Alberto Martino, UK Country Manager. On the marketing front, the UK team is led by Isabella Carini, and supported by Francesca Belluzzo and Matilde Zamuner. The finance side is made up of Matteo Macchi, Head of Sponsorship and Guglielmo Valastro, Head of Finance. Completing the symposium team: Raffaele Pinto, Nicolas Di Salvo, Greta Magistrelli, Antonio Ferrisi, Gea Valentino, Niccolò Alcini, Caterina Mercati, Dora Marzocchi, Maria de Gregorio, Giulia Patrizi, Gian Andrea Rossi, Aglaia Freccero, Simone Pellegrino and the guys from the Research Centre. The initiative benefits from the support of Tancredi as main sponsor, as well as the collaboration of Belluzzo international partners and the Gomry platform.
Alongside the symposium, the association manages permanent mentoring and tutoring programs to facilitate professional placement and access to foreign universities for deserving students. Registration for the panels is open on the event’s official website and via the organisation’s social channels.
