The most extraordinary thing about this Europe and the one I frankly cannot understand is the issue related to Orban. As you know, Orban is the rotating president of the European Council and what he is involved in is perhaps the answer to the question that we all ask ourselves about why Europe doesn’t count for shit. Yes, because do you know what the gentlemen of the European Commission do when Mr. Orban leads the rotating semester? They don’t show up to his meetings. Do you understand? The European Commissionwhich is not elected by anyone, allows itself not to participate in the meetings organized by the president in office, who until proven otherwise was elected by the Hungarians. Hungarians may be few in comparison to the European population, but according to our statute Orban is president in office in all respects.
The thing I’m wondering is this: what does this arise from? arrogance of the European Commissioners that exempts them from showing up at Orban’s meetings? But who gives them this right? Perhaps it is precisely the fact that they are not bound by any electoral logic that allows them to snub the Hungarian Prime Minister’s meetings in this way. This is yet another emblem of a Europe governed by unelected people. Orban may or may not be liked for his sovereignist positions, but this is not justifiable very little consideration which almost sounds like an insult from the commissioners. They may disagree with his policies, but unlike them he was elected, precisely because of those policies proposed.

Just look at the Americans who act like greats with their soldiers dressed all in black, with torches and rifles, but then they miss a sniper who could have killed the only person there was to defend. The difference is that they seem like giants in that area, but they turned out to be duds, while we duds seem and are duds in the area of European politics.
