Two sides of the same coin: threats and negotiations. This is how the dialogue between the USA and Iran proceeds. The negotiating channels are not closed, but the positions remain distant. The United States, which received a new 14-point proposal from the country of the ayatollahs in the past few hours, has sent its response and the evaluation is underway. “We are talking,” said Steve Witkoff although Donald Trump’s words were very different: “Unacceptable.”
Despite his harsh tone, Trump announced the launch of “Project Freedom”, a mission to free ships stuck in the Strait. Speaking of a “humanitarian gesture”, the tycoon reported that the operation responds to the request made to the United States by many countries “that have nothing to do” with the conflict. Let’s see better what it is.
The Project Freedom mission
The announcement arrived as always on Truth, and then bounced on other social channels attributable to Trump and the American forces. The United States will launch operation “Project Freedom” in the next few hours to free ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
“This is a humanitarian gesture made on behalf of the United States, Middle Eastern countries and, in particular, Iran. Many of these ships are running out of supplies of food and all other essential goods to ensure their crews remain on board in adequate health and hygiene conditions”, wrote Trump reporting that “Countries around the world, which are in no way involved in the conflict in Iran, have asked the United States to help free their ships, which remained stuck in the Strait of Hormuz in because of an affair with which they have absolutely nothing to do. I have instructed my representatives to inform these countries that we will do everything possible to get their ships and crews to safety out of the Strait.”
In recent weeks, several shipping companies have highlighted the difficulties associated with blocking their ships at several points along or near the Strait of Hormuz. Economic but also practical difficulties, with the crews “trapped” in a war scenario.
The United States Central Command explains that “Project Freedom” is a defensive mission and is intended to give “support to merchant ships that intend to transit freely through this essential international trade corridor”.

“Our support of this defense mission is essential to regional security and the global economy, while we also maintain the naval blockade,” said Centcom Commander Brad Cooper.
Military support to Project Freedom will include guided-missile destroyers, more than 100 land and naval aircraft, multi-domain unmanned platforms and 15,000 military personnel.
The Project Freedom plan does not require U.S. Navy ships to strictly “escort” vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. Rather they will indicate the best route. According to the Wall Street Journal, which cites a US official, the initiative is a process through which countries, insurance companies and shipping organizations can coordinate transit across the Strait. However, US Navy ships should be “nearby” in case it is necessary to prevent the Iranian army from attacking merchant ships crossing the Strait.
The answer
The idea sparked a reaction from Iran. “Any American interference in the new maritime regime of the Strait will be considered a violation of the ceasefire,” Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the parliamentary committee on national security, announced on X.

Any American interference in the new maritime regime of the Strait of Hormuz will be considered a violation of the ceasefire.
The Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf would not be managed by Trump’s delusional posts!
No one would believe Blame Game scenarios!
