“We have significantly reduced the number of targets” in the Twin Cities region, where thousands of U.S. immigration enforcement agents have been brought, Homan said at a news conference. Last week, Homan announced the withdrawal of 700 officers from the area that includes Minneapolis and St. Paul, leaving about 2,000 on duty. The total withdrawal “will continue until next week”, he said.
