Netatmo has expanded its offering of outdoor cameras with the new Outdoor Camera Original, a 3-in-1 solution that combines a high definition video camera, a powerful siren and an intelligent LED spotlight with motion detection in a single product.
The new Outdoor Camera Original maintains the elegant silhouette of the previous model, preserving a now distinctive and iconic design. Netatmo has also dedicated particular attention to the creation of the product, maintaining the same premium materials and resistance standards as the previous Smart Outdoor Camera:

The new Outdoor Camera Original allows you to monitor, deter and defend your home effectively, without additional equipment. A high definition video camera, with 105 dB siren and an integrated LED spotlight.
It records in 2K+ Hdr at 30 frames per second, with a 130° angle, 16x zoom and infrared night vision. The camera supports 2.4/5 Ghz Wi-Fi and Mimo technology, with two dual-band antennas instead of a mono-band as previously. This technology allows you to simultaneously transmit and receive multiple data streams, promising fast and stable connections.
We also remember the powerful onboard AI system which allows precise detection of people, animals and vehicles and the notification system sent only when really necessary, avoiding false alarms.
The Outdoor Camera Original integrates fully into the Netatmo ecosystem via the Home + Security app, which centralizes all home security devices in one intuitive interface (internal cameras, external cameras, alarms, sensors, access control). From the app you can view live or replaying videos, consult the history of events and customize the detection zones with just a few taps.
Like its predecessor, the Outdoor Camera Original is designed for privacy. Intelligent detection and video storage take place locally, directly on the camera’s microSD, without going through the cloud. Communication with the smartphone uses an encrypted and secure connection, to protect data protection.
Price and availability
The Outdoor Camera Original will be available in black and white colors starting next summer, at the price of 249.99 euros. Netatmo also presented the dedicated Outdoor Floodlight accessory, an external spotlight in aesthetic harmony with the camera, at the price of 69.99 euros.
