On the occasion of MWC 2026, Tcl presented the new Nxtpaper 70 Pro, a smartphone designed to offer visual comfort throughout the day, in any context of use. Below are main features and price.
Nxtpaper 4.0 technology
At the heart of the device is Nxtpaper 4.0, the integrated hardware and software approach developed by Tcl for eye protection and well-being. Supported by recognized international certifications, including SGS and TÜV, Nxtpaper 70 Pro is designed to make digital viewing more relaxing throughout the day. The technology integrates seven solutions dedicated to eye-care: natural light display, zero flickering, blue light purification, anti-reflective treatment, protection in low light conditions, circadian visual comfort and TruePaper Restoration technology.
In outdoor environments, where reflections and bright light can compromise readability, the device uses an advanced nano-matrix lithography technique combined with adaptive software to keep content clear and readable. The natural light display, based on Circular Polarized Light technology, helps ensure comfortable viewing even in bright conditions.
Indoors and during extended usage sessions, Nxtpaper 4.0 reduces potentially harmful blue light and ensures a flicker-free experience.
In the evening, the combination of dim light protection and circadian mode, together with the DC Dimming system, allows for precise adjustment of brightness and tone. The screen can reach a minimum brightness of 1 nit, promoting evening reading that is more in tune with the natural rhythms of rest.
Nxtpaper key

Thanks to the physical Nxtpaper button, you can quickly switch between three display modes: Color Paper Mode, Ink Paper Mode and Max Ink Mode. The latter offers a monochrome paper-inspired interface, ideal for immersive reading and reducing on-screen distractions. In this configuration, autonomy can reach up to 7 days of reading and up to 26 days on standby.
For those who like to write or take notes, the Nxtpaper 70 Pro supports the T-Pen, which guarantees a natural writing experience thanks to low latency and pressure recognition.
Photographic section

On board we find the 50Mp main camera with OIS, flanked by an 8Mp ultra-wide angle and a 32Mp front one. Proprietary MuseFilm technology enriches photos and videos with a more expressive, cinematic aesthetic. The Super Night mode improves the rendering of details in low light conditions, while 4K video recording, supported by double Ois + Eis stabilization with Horizon Lock function, ensures more stable footage. Filters add an analog-inspired creative touch, while built-in editing tools simplify post-production and sharing.
Processor, battery and memory
Equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, the Nxtpaper 70 Pro is supported by 8GB of Ram and up to 512GB of internal memory. We also remember the 5,200mAh battery, with 33W fast charging, and the protection from dust and water with IP68 certification.
