Galaxy Z Fold8
The new series marks the debut of the Galaxy Z Fold8, a folding smartphone with a “book” opening and compact dimensions. Weighing just 201g, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is Samsung’s lightest Galaxy Z Fold ever. Despite its slim design, it combines the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform for Galaxy with a 4,800 mAh battery, promising high performance and long battery life.
When closed, the 10:16 aspect ratio external display can be used for the most frequent tasks, from messages and social updates to navigation and short videos. When unfolded, the 4:3 main display creates a large viewing area ideal for games and movies. By rotating the device, the display adapts naturally to reading, offering a more comfortable experience for articles, e-books and more.
Samsung’s new Flex Titanium technology introduces a titanium-based display structure, designed to make foldable devices thinner without compromising durability. Flex Titanium also helps reduce the visibility of the crease.
