Poco, a Xiaomi brand, presented the new X8 smartphone. Below is news, features and prices.
Exceptional autonomy
The heart of the X8 is a completely new battery: more capacious, quicker to recharge and with a longer life cycle. On board we find an 8,340mAh battery which offers 63.2% more capacity than the previous model. Based on silicon-carbon (SiC) technology with a silicon content of 13%, it guarantees high energy density and allows you to easily exceed two days of use on a single charge. The battery is designed to last over time, maintaining at least 80% of its original capacity even after 1,600 charging cycles, the equivalent of approximately six years of standard use. To complete this picture there is support for 67W HyperCharge fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. In practice, not only does the phone recharge quickly, but it can transform into a real power bank to charge other devices on the move.
Extra-large display
The X8 features a 6.83-inch display with 1.5K resolution. With peak brightness reaching 3,500 nits (on 25% of the screen), content remains sharp and readable even in direct sunlight. The display also boasts TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye protection, significantly reducing visual fatigue.
Design
The X8 sports a clean, minimalist look, characterized by clean lines and geometric elements. The central frame with sandblasted finish guarantees a firmer and more comfortable grip. The device boasts Ip66 and Ip68 certifications for dust and water resistance. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the display, giving the X8 excellent resistance to scratches and impacts, protecting it from falls up to 3 meters high.
