Over 500 products confirmed for Unicomm's "Defense Expenditure" against the high cost of living

Between daily spending, bills, fuel and the cost of credit, autumn opens with new pressures on the budgets of Italian families and with growing attention to every expense item. In this scenario, the Unicomm Group based in Vicenza, present in 7 regions of the central north with over 200 direct sales points under the Emisfero, Famila, A&O, Mega and Emi brands, strengthens its convenience policies with “Spesa Difesa”, the project dedicated to over 500 Selex brand products offered at reduced prices in the Group’s participating supermarkets.

In an economic context very difficult especially for less wealthy families, the basket “Defense Spending“, allows you to protect your purchasing power and represents a concrete tool for daily convenience. The basket which includes over 500 Selex references, from food categories to household and personal products, over the last year Spesa Difesa has allowed families who are customers of the group’s supermarkets and hypermarkets an overall saving of approximately 17 million euros. Savings that add up to the offers of hundreds of products from major brands that are offered in the chain’s stores every fortnight.

“Defending purchasing power also means intervening on the shopping cart – he states Giancarlo Paola, commercial director of the Unicomm Group and CEO of GMF –. Defense Spending was born with this objective: to make available a large basket of quality products at truly convenient conditions. In a phase of new pressure on family budgets, we want to continue to do our part, with commercial policies capable of providing concrete and continuous responses, not just promotional ones”.
