A petrol station in Yahodyn, near the Ukrainian-Polish border, was hit in a massive drone attack on Ukraine, causing a huge fire. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha declared this on X, while NextaTv published the images, specifying that a petrol station and some trucks were on fire near the border crossing. “This is Putin’s terror, which is knocking directly on the doors of the EU and NATO. The Russian barbarians are already at your doors, dear partners”, writes Minister Sybiha.

Passenger train hit
Russian forces also hit the locomotive of a passenger train in the Volhynia region, on the border with Poland. Ukrzaliznytsia, the Ukrainian national railway company, reported this in a post on Telegram. “For the second day in a row the enemy is attacking the railway. Today, in the Volhynia region, two kilometers from the border with Poland, the enemy hit the locomotive of a passenger train. The monitoring group warned the train crew of the threat in advance and thanks to this no one was injured,” the note reads.

The train was traveling from Kiev to Warsaw. This was confirmed by Oleksandr Shevchenko, deputy director of Ukrzaliznytsia for passenger transport: “The passengers were unharmed. At the time of the impact, the train was two kilometers from the border with Poland, in the Volhynia region.”
Zelensky: “Moscow is a common threat”
Raids by Russian forces on the border with Poland demonstrate that Russia is a common threat. The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, raised the alarm. “All necessary services are working near the Ukrainian-Polish border in Volhynia, where the Russians demonstratively burned a train locomotive and damaged a gas station with a drone attack,” he wrote on Telegram. “Precisely so that these attacks do not go further, towards Europe, every day Ukrainian men and women fight, give their lives and do not allow aggression to spread. The Kremlin does not rule out trilateral talks with the US and Ukraine
Russia, meanwhile, does not rule out holding trilateral talks on Ukraine in October, with Kiev and the United States. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists this, the Tass agency writes. “Yes, we don’t rule out that possibility. We are talking about the near future. So October is definitely a possibility. It can’t be ruled out,” he said when asked if talks could take place that month. “As for any new proposals, there are none at the moment. But that is precisely the purpose of the trilateral meeting: to explore new options,” Peskov added.
