Banca Generali (+0.3%) achieved a net collection of 602 million in August which brought the cumulative collection since the beginning of the year to 5.7 billion (+43% year on year), reaching the best result ever for both the month of August and for the first eight months of the year.
The collection of the month, explains a note, confirms the solidity of the results and the ability of the network, despite the traditional holiday period and with increasing market volatility, to catalyze new liquidity flows (422 million in the month), in view of future investment opportunities in managed and administered products consistent with the objectives and risk profiles of the customers.
Assets under investment at 98 million
Assets under investment (Aui) recorded positive net inflows of 98 million in the month, bringing the total since the beginning of the year to 2.7 billion. Within the data, the contribution of managed solutions is confirmed as particularly robust (114 million in the month, 2.4 billion since the beginning of the year), highlighting the continuous demand for solutions with a high consultancy value.
Among these, collections in funds and Sicavs (196 million in the month, 1.6 billion since the beginning of the year) were particularly consistent, driven in particular by home funds (156 million in the month, 1.4 billion since the beginning of the year) which confirm the appreciation for the quality of the offering. The performance of the other managed components mainly reflects a different mix of investment allocation without altering the strong growth trend recorded since the beginning of the year.
“Another month of strong growth driven by the push of new customers and the attention that comes to us from the business world. Despite the holiday climate and the volatility on rates and price lists due to the renewed inflationary pressures of recent weeks, our bankers have strengthened their closeness to families, finding further confirmation in the distinctive offering model and in the skills of our professionals”, declared the CEO of Banca Generali, Gian Maria Mossa.
“We can exceed the set targets”
“Also on the external growth front, despite the speculation on the risk after the recent Ops promoted by Banca Mps, we continue to receive great attention from various standing bankers who aim to make the most of their potential, recognizing the solidity of our team and uniqueness of model as a point of reference for the development of their careers. We remain focused on the opportunities in our segment and on the synergies with Intermonte, and we look with great confidence to the coming months, with the awareness of being able to reach and exceed the ambitious targets established”, concluded the manager.
