From today, 27 October, it is no longer possible to request the “column bonus”, i.e. the contribution for the installation of electric charging infrastructure for private use. The possibility of submitting the reimbursement request has been blocked because the requests presented cover all the funds available for 2026.
The domestic charging station bonus
The exact wording is “home charging station bonus”, it is a reimbursement for those who have bought and installed infrastructures for charging electric vehicles. This applies to both private individuals and condominiums. It covers 80% of the expenses incurred within the limit of 1,500 euros if the contribution is requested by a natural person, 8,000 euros if it is requested by a condominium.
Since the opening of requests on September 22, over 16 thousand applications have been submitted. They already cover the value of the resources available for 2026.
What happens now
Applications will be processed in the chronological order of presentation. Applicants will be able to consult the status of their request by accessing the reserved area of the dedicated platform. If resources become available again, the possible reopening of the branch for 2026 will be communicated with a specific notice.
