A beautiful event this afternoon, very well attended for this award ceremony in recognition of the Historic and Quality Accommodation Facilities of the Lombardy region
The Testori Auditorium of Palazzo Lombardia today hosted the awards ceremony of the first edition of the ‘Recognition of Historic and Quality Accommodation Structures’.
An exclusive event, wanted byCouncilor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion of the Lombardy Region Barbara Mazzali, to celebrate the excellence of Lombard hospitality.
The recognition rewards those companies that, for at least fifty years, have been able to keep their name and their service alive with continuityalso guaranteeing the regular declaration of tourist flows in the last three years.
To receive this honor, a selection of structures symbolizing tradition and quality which were awarded a plaque, delivered directly by councilor Mazzali.
The ceremony was also attended by the regional councilors Elena Lucchini (Family, Social Solidarity, Disability and Equal Opportunities), Alessandro Fermi (University, Research, Innovation) and the undersecretary to the Presidency of the Lombardy Region with delegation to Controls, Heritage and Digitalisation, Ruggero You winter.
THE AWARDED STRUCTURES – 109 structures were awarded, a testimony to the richness and variety of Lombardy’s accommodation offer, divided between the various provinces.
