Ermanno Scervino stages the encounter between beauty and contemporaneity and the result is as always of great effect. According to the designer, in fact, the search for beauty intertwines with the spirit of the times and the power of a free body, becoming a declaration of modernity. The new collection of the maison celebrates the spontaneous and free essence of femininity, through its couture soul. A reference to the revolutionary spirit of the 60s and 70s that is shown above all in caftans with an almost hippie style. The collection redefines the way in which contemporary women embrace their bodies free from constraints and archetypes. The sinuous silhouette of the double-breasted jacket reimagines the corset. The body is sculpted and the fluid trousers with a marked waist. The denim couture line expresses the maximum of the brand’s sartorial mastery, with the use of a trompe l’oeil technique that transforms non-denim fabrics into denim. Lace enhances the body in long slip dresses, while knitwear also features in cashmere cardigans. The palette ranges from mint green to citrine yellow and peach pink, to classic denim blue, pure white and bold black that embody the collection’s timeless elegance. Ermanno and Toni Scervino show themselves at the end of the presentation. They appear shyly for just a moment, not without showing great emotion, as if it were the first time. Daelli in particular thinks of the young people who want to take up this profession: “I think that many kids who leave school need more manual skills, I would like them not only to be computer literate, but for there to be a mix of technology and manual skills. I like working with young people, I work willingly with them as long as they are passionate” – he explains. Already the passion for a creative job, full of meanings that never goes out of fashion.
