Ferrero aims for a turnover of around 25 billion euros including the latest acquisitions. A milestone that arrives in the year of the 80th anniversary of the group’s foundation, which took place in Alba in 1946, and which coincides with the launch of five new proposals for the Italian market presented at the Ferrero Innovation Day Italia.
The Ferrero ecosystem and its affiliated companies recorded a consolidated turnover of 22.3 billion euros as of 31 August 2025. The estimate rises to approximately 25 billion including the acquisitions of WK Kellogg Co and Cpk, concluded after the end of the financial year. The group has over 50 brands, more than 60 thousand people and products sold in over 170 countries.
Expanding beyond chocolate
The expansion strategy, launched in 2015, has progressively expanded the group’s scope from chocolate to biscuits, ice cream, breakfast cereals and snacks. The new categories covered are worth a total of 8.1 billion euros in Italy, more than three times the 3.3 billion referring to chocolate and spreadable creams.
The new products presented at Innovation Day include the Wonka range, Nutella Cookies, Pain au Nutella, the Pocket Coffee Extra Dark bar and the Pocket Coffee Eggs. Added to these is Eat Natural Granola, arriving in January 2027. The new proposals expand the brands’ consumption opportunities and strengthen the group’s presence in segments adjacent to the traditional business.
First company in Italy in large-scale retail trade
According to Circana data, Ferrero has become the first consumer goods company in Italy in terms of value of sales in large-scale retail trade, with over 2.4 billion euros and a market share of 22.5%, up by half a percentage point.
