For the left everything is the fault of the climate

Dear Director Feltri,
Now also the deputy Laura Boldrini is discovered expert in structural engineering. On live TV, even before technical investigations have been made, she launched himself in an illuminating explanation on the collapse of the General Master installed above the Hadid tower in Milan: the fault of the heat, she says. But really? It is comic, if it were not tragic. The left has accustomed us to this single -dimensional reading mode of reality: everything, but everything, is traced back to the “climate change”. Rains? Climate change. It doesn’t rain? Climate change. A sign collapses? It is the torrid heat. And who dares to doubt, those who ask for evidence, those who invoke true science are immediately branded as a denialist. But this is not science, it is superstition disguised as progressiveness.

Ivano Bracco

Dear Ivano,
No, it’s not science at all. It is systematized nonsense, elevated to dogma by a left that no longer reasoned, but preaches. Explaining any accident, misfortune or disaster with the excuse of “global warming” has become the favorite sport of progressive policy, which now lives in an ideological bubble waterproof to the facts. The heat is the new scapegoat: an abstract nebula to which to attribute concrete faults, thus avoiding attributing them to incompetence, negligence, neglect, inattention, the fragility of the structures and bad maintenance.

Boldrini is only the last voice of this out of tune choir. The sign of Generali, according to her, would have collapsed for the heat. Not because perhaps it has been designed badly, installed worse or not subjected to periodic checks.

No: the heat. The AFA of Milan, which notoriously dissolves the steel. Too bad that the steel founded at over 1370 ° C. In Milan we are stopped – in the most fiery days – at 40 ° C scarce. To reach that melting point, it would be necessary to transform the Hadid tower into a altrophorn. And instead it is still a skyscraper, not a nuclear reactor. The reality is that Boldrini does not distinguish a beam from a sound beam, but feels compelled to pontificate on everything. So you explain to us, therefore, the bridges that collapse, the roads that open under the cars, the schools that fall apart: will it be not the fault of the sun too? Climate change has become the perfect alibi for each disaster, the comfortable alternative to a process for negligence. A generic imputation that does not need evidence, nor investigations. It works very well, because nobody can ever refute it completely. But in the meantime, derinking us. Because, if it is the fault of the heat, then it is not man’s fault, at least not directly. Of the real one, however: the one who works badly, who builds worse, who signs tests with his eyes closed. Now the prosecutor has opened a file for the collapse of construction, the firefighters carried out the first reliefs, there is talk of the breakdown of some steel tie rods holding the sign. Nobody, except for the expert deputy of applied physics, spoke of steel sold for the heat, in short, liquefied by the sun. But so much so: ideologies are faster than expert reports. And so Boldrini, who has never even understood much of rights, or work or common sense, is now practicing in thermodynamic engineering. You just have to say that the sign on the Hadid tower folded because of the patriarchate or that it has collapsed because of the male language. Maybe he will surprise us with a motion to change the name in “General*”. In a normal country, people like Boldrini would be silent, or he would just write post -self -celebrating posts on Instagram.

With us, however, they go on TV to give scientific explanations without even knowing how to read a thermometer. But on the other hand, when one has made his profession ideological banality, he becomes an expert in everything: from meteorology to the fusion of metals.
