The works of good should not be ostentatious and not even declared, but the circumstances lead me to reveal that my wife and I have always used to help, as we can, who is in difficulty. Anyone of us can happen to find themselves on the bill, to cross a dark and tiring period, perhaps to lose their jobs and to no longer be able to provide for the expenses for children, for the house, for basic necessities.
I therefore believe it is a duty to tend a hand to those who need, but I don’t think this is the case of Paolo Guzzanti, who collects a nourished pension, a delicious annuity and consistent compensation deriving from his activity as a commentator. It is in place a contract with Mediaset, so Guzzanti works and earns, it is not a desperate homeless man who craves a suit of bread or one of those separate fathers who end up with the liver in the car not having the money to pay a rent. Would you like to make us believe this? It is insulting that people who every month incorporates thousands and thousands of euros cry misery in a national newspaper. I find this vottimistic conduct absolutely of bad taste and also too little dignified. I understand that the separations cost, that the ex -wife must be maintained for life, but the maintenance checks are proportional to the revenues and I doubt that a court can impose on a man to pay the former spouse more than he declares to earn, thus leaving him with the pieces on the Dereto, as it is used. I suspect that Guzzanti needs further and additional revenue not because it is on an empty stomach and is not able to buy bread, rather because, as he himself states, he is used to luxuries, pomp, well -being and, instead of tightening the belt a little, renouncing the superfluous, prefers to give up dignity and maintain a tenor of life that evidently goes beyond its actual possibilities. Possibility that – let’s specify it – are high.
I was not born rich. My family was yes a bourgeois family, of the bourgeoisieth medium, but the loss of Santa’s loss when I was only 6 years old influenced negatively on our finances. I became rich by saving, giving value to the money earned, not only rolling my sleeves and slaughter. Guzzanti is “in poverty” not because he does not have entrances, but because his exits exceed the former. Rather than making the collection to allow him to spend and do not only his money but also ours, it would be the case that he attended a course of domestic economy to learn the precious rudiments of the art of making ends meet, of which our women have always been specialists.
No, I wouldn’t send Guzzanti to even a euro. If you really needed it, I would be the first to intervene, although we are not friends. But more useful and wise is to give to those who do not have, instead of giving those who have so much and that’s not enough for them.
