“The death of four people in the capital has been confirmed,” Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitchko said on Telegram. It also reported 51 injuries, including three children, following attacks on several neighborhoods in the urban agglomeration. “The enemy is attacking with ballistic missiles, the head of the capital’s military administration, Tymour Tkatchenko, had previously warned on Telegram.

After the missile explosions were heard, residents rushed to shelters, loaded with bags and blankets, through the streets of Kiev, where a tall column of smoke rose.

In the eastern part of the country, in Dnipro, authorities reported five dead and 25 injured. “The toll of the Russian attack on Dnipro continues to worsen”, underlined the head of the military administration of the region, Oleksandr Ganja.

Ten people were also injured in Kharkiv, also in eastern Ukraine, including a child, as mayor Igor Terekhov reported on Telegram. The city was “attacked by 15 drones and two missiles”, he specified. On the Russian side, a civilian was killed in the Kursk region, near the border, in a Ukrainian drone attack, local governor Aleksandr Khinchtein said. A fire broke out at the Ilski refinery in southern Russia’s Krasnodar region following a drone attack, according to the region’s operational headquarters.
