The Pope’s words have embarrassed the hyper-progressive left, always ready to praise the pontiff when he talks about migrants (and when he talks about the LGBT world, before the anti-faggot turn), but that is nothing new. What is surprising is that a country like Belgium is so angry with Bergoglio for representing the official position of the Magisterium. We are talking about a state that risks becoming the first Muslim state in Europewhich boasts Islamist politicians both “at home” and in Europe and which is at the center of the Muslim Brotherhood’s project to Islamize the West.
Belgium is that country that has adopted an integration policy such as to give away citizenship, both for electoral reasons and from the do-good perspective that distinguishes a certain left. And in Brussels – sadly the cradle of terrorism – Islamists have capitalized on their entry into parties and institutions through their strategy of influence with the European Union. This is not an extreme danger, the numbers speak for themselves: according to Statbel, in 2020, 67 percent of the Belgian population was made up of Belgians of Belgian origin. That percentage in 2010 stood at 74.3 percent. But that’s not all: according to the Pew Forum of Religion and Public Life, Belgium will have 1.149 million Muslims in 2030, an increase of 80.96 percent compared to 2010. The ones paying the highest price are the Belgians, now a minority in certain ghetto neighborhoods. Just think of Molenbeek, now dominated by Muslims.
In short, Belgium – a European country dominated by Islamic fundamentalism – resented Pope Francis’ words on abortion. Pathetic hyper-progressivism hits the mark once again: yes to the veil, no to freedom of thought. Not even for the pontiff. And it matters little if one in two children at school chooses a Muslim rather than a Christian religion class. Bergoglio cannot afford certain considerations. But perhaps wouldn’t it be better to dedicate all this energy to countering those who want to impose Sharia on us?
