In memory of Charlie, who teaches us that young people go right
A little time has passed since Charlie Kirk’s heinous political murder. I wanted to take me a few days in order not to write a piece of jet, to make a wider reasoning involving what are the young people who do politics.
Charlie was a hero of freedom, some discovered him only the cursed day of his murder, others knew very well who this young Debater was with strong and divisive arguments. It was written about everything on Charlie, which brought hatred, that it was a right -wing extremist and many other ideological batgianate. Charlie was simply a young American who made us understand a fundamental thing: there is no manifest fate that young people are necessarily going to the left. It now exists in America. And soon also in Italy, a generation of 20-30 year olds who has moved definitively to the right, even in universities and for the most part young men, thanks to the constant dialectic battle of Charlie on topics that here in Italy we consider almost retrogarded, such as abortion, drugs, man-woman relationship and ideological feminism, western identity and other battles now entered the vocabulary of the right, such as security, immigration and peace.
Topics that we thought were the prerogative of the generation of our fathers and grandparents, but which actually to the sound of memes, Ai, right -wing influencers, podcaster and activists, are finding space in a generation that we thought would have fully married the theses of militant progressiveness, Taliban environmentalism and the all -left world and LGBT world left. Speaking of communicative battle and ai, Feel the beautiful song that Giulio Curatella created for Charlie, “Man of freedom”, a small chicccha who deserves and who also arrived in Erika Kirk and also presented by the strategist of Donald Trump, Steve Bannon. We are winning that battle, to the sound of votes and communicative supremacy.
In addition to the battle for freedom of speech, Charlie teaches us that there is a generation that does not surrender to the transformation of the western world to parody of himself. Long live Kirk, live freedom, live the young people who turn right.
