Yesterday – Monday 3 November – the new update for iPhone: Apple has in fact made the release of the operating system available iOS 26.1. In fact, the beta-testing phase has ended. What should we expect from this update?
Last September 15th Apple released iOS26, which brought great news. iOS 26.1 is a minor update, but still important, as it will improve the software. Many novelty waits. Among these we will find an expansion of the languages supported by Apple Intelligence, with the addition of Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish and Vietnamese. The same goes for the Live Translate function, which will also see Japanese, Korean, Italian and Chinese added.
Regarding the interface Liquid Glassintroduced with iOS 26, will come with a toggle that will allow you to adjust the effect between Clear and Tinted modes, i.e. transparent and more opaque; this should improve the readability of the screen.
With the iOS 26.1 update, improvements will also be added for others functions. You can use the slide to stop method on the alarm clock, for example. Also new for the Music app, with swipe gestures to change songs. You can then deactivate the swipe that allows you to activate the camera.
Improvements also regarding security, given that new security updates will be installed for the iOS versions.
This is not an impact update, but rather an attempt to improve an already high-performance product, with particular attention to the daily use of the software.
