Remember the Reporters Without Borders report on freedom of the presswith Italy in 46th place after losing five positions? An unacceptable fact according to the usual wise guys, who took the opportunity to denigrate and throw mud at the government, regardless of the reasons for certain – far from independent – analyses. Or, more recently, the incredible warning of Sergio Mattarella on the occasion of the delivery ceremony of the “Fan” by the Parliamentary Press Association, recalling that “every act directed against free information, every reduction of it to fake news, is a subversive act directed against the Republic”. Also in this case, the comrades rejoice at the alleged attack against the right, between “Telemeloni” and other similar stupidities. But then reality tells us something else, just go to France to come to terms with the zenith of the regime censorship.
In France, the country of Emmanuel Macron, the idol of Europeanism par excellence, the terrestrial TV frequency – the most watched – of the television channel will not be renewed C8 of the Canal+ group. This is the decision taken by Arcom, the French audiovisual and digital communications regulator. At the centre of the controversy is especially the programme hosted by the right-wing showman Cyril Hanounaconsidered in line with the Rn of Le Pen and Bardella. Result? The channel of the Bollorè galaxy is not considered in line with the parameters of the concession. Different story for the other channels under scrutiny, just think of CNews, which escaped the “supreme sanction”.
“Rather than focus on the lack of pluralism in public service, paid for by French taxes, in France we prefer to muzzle private channels”, one of the most interesting attacks, coming from the mayor of Cannes David Lisnard. A real democratic scandalwhich certifies the attempt – successful – of the power and therefore of Macron to destroy pluralism. A dangerous message, very different from the “Telemeloni” farce and other phenomena instrumentally created by the left: at this rate, no one will stop Macron from broadcasting the same message on all TV and radio channels, transforming the media into a megaphone for the left.
