It comes alive with the launch of the teaser events the organization of NetZero Milanthe new appointment of Milan Fair dedicated to decarbonization in the industrial sectorwhich will be held from 14 to 16 May 2025 at Allianz MiCo to Milan. From November to April, eight monthly webinars will accompany the community of NetZero makers up to the event, created with the scientific supervision of publishing entities and stakeholders in the energy sector and important industrial sectors.
At the center of the meetings, the themes related to achievement of decarbonisation objectives and above all the competitiveness of all manufacturing sectors called to join them. Themes and challenges that will converge next May in NetZero Milan, where they will find technological answers and further moments of in-depth analysis, which will involve international stakeholders, institutions and the productive world.
We leave on November 21st with the first appointment organized in collaboration with QualEnergia.it dedicated to electrification and electrical efficiency for industry. According to the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Researchwith existing technologies alone it could be possible to electrify up to 78% of the overall energy consumption of the European industrial sector, a figure that reaches 99% if we look at the technologies under development.
The electrification of industry can represent an effective and concretely achievable solution to start the decarbonisation process, almost completely reducing energy-related emissions. Scenario with great potential, but made critical by the current ones electricity costsdecidedly greater than those of gas.
