Ezviz has announced the official launch of the new family of battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras. This product ecosystem is designed to address historical challenges in outdoor video surveillance, such as undetected events, blind spots, frequent charging and expensive cloud subscriptions. Products with industry-first Always-On Video (AOV) technology, multi-lens 360° vision and local AI facial recognition of familiar faces.
Below are all the features of the new Ezviz cameras.
Continuous recording 24/7
Conventional battery-powered cameras often rely only on passive infrared sensors that react late or miss events entirely before activating. Ezviz’s Always-On Video (Aov) technology offers true 24/7 continuous monitoring with a detection range of 25 meters. By intelligently alternating between low frame rate, low power time lapse recording when nothing is happening, and full frame rate recording when an event is detected, Aov promises a complete history of what happens. Combined with high-capacity rechargeable batteries and Ezviz high-efficiency solar panels, this technology promises uninterrupted 24/7 protection, with zero costs on the bill and no manual top-ups.
Ultra clarity with 360° multi-lens coverage and auto zoom tracking
To overcome the blind spots of single shots in large outdoor spaces, the new range of battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras introduces high-resolution optics, from 6MP/8MP single lenses up to sophisticated multi-lens systems. High-end models adopt advanced architectures: fixed wide-angle lenses maintain a stable overall view, while motorized pan/tilt telephoto lenses with 12x zoom allow you to follow moving people and vehicles. There is no shortage of convenient controls, color night vision and smart spotlights.
Local AI facial recognition of familiar faces, without a subscription

Frequent false alarms and mandatory cloud costs remain among the main frustrations of those who have a home to protect. Ezviz responds by integrating advanced AI algorithms directly onto the device to perform facial recognition of familiar faces locally, without any monthly subscription. The biometric data of up to 30 family members or regular guests can be stored locally. Together with AI detection of human and vehicle silhouettes and personalized alert zones, the system distinguishes between familiar and potential threats, activating active defense measures with sirens, strobe lights or red and blue warning lights only when necessary.
