After presenting the W2 Nova Edition washing machine and the T2 Nova Edition dryer two years ago, i.e. the Diamond version, the top models of the new generation, Miele is now also introducing the other versions: Platinum, Gold and Silver.
Maximum care and delicacy for all fabrics
Clothing doesn’t simply need to be cleaned. They also need to last as long as possible. This is why the new generation continues to focus on particularly delicate baskets, from the tried and tested Miele honeycomb model to the InfinityCare basket of the W2 Nova Edition washing machine.
With the “Quick ironing” option, the laundry is spread out at the end of the selected wash program, significantly reducing subsequent ironing work.
For fear of damaging delicate clothing during drying, they are often hung out to dry on the clothesline as a precaution. With DryCare 40, this caution is no longer necessary in most cases: almost all fabrics washable at 40 °C can be dried directly in the dryer. With WoolDry, exclusively hand-washable wool fabrics are dried in a particularly delicate way, to obtain soft and fluffy garments that maintain their original shape.
Load capacity up to 11 kg and intelligent programs
Thanks to a load capacity of up to 11 kg, flexible programs and short cycle times, the new generation offers the ideal solution for every need. When the washing machine is not completely full, SmartMatic allows you to wash even a few items with complete peace of mind, maintaining a constant consumption of water, energy and detergent for each kilogram of laundry, regardless of the quantity of load.
When time is short, QuickPowerWash and QuickPowerDry offer quick wash and dry cycles in just 49 minutes (up to 4kg).
When more flexibility is needed, FlexMatic allows everyone to choose whether to complete the laundry in the shortest time possible or favor maximum energy efficiency when washing or drying. Those who prefer can simply set the desired end time and let the appliance decide. FlexMatic automatically selects the most energy efficient program within the available time window.
When washing different fabrics, such as jeans, wool or silk, specific detergents are usually needed. With TwinDos, this task is handled by the automatic dosing system. The two-phase system automatically doses the detergent in the correct amount and allows you to wash even delicate fabrics, such as wool and silk, without having to use separate special detergents.
New Miele washing machines and dryers are also tested to last up to 20 years. Completing this quality guarantee is the 25-year warranty on the engine.
An additional feature is the DryProtect technology. An additional filter system permanently protects the heat exchanger from lint. This way, short program times and high energy efficiency are maintained throughout the entire lifespan of the dryer.
Availability and prices
The expanded generation of W2 washing machines and T2 dryers will start in Italy in October 2026. Further models will be introduced starting from April 2027. Prices will be announced soon.
