Razer presented the Razer Huntsman V3 Tenkeyless 8KHz, a new analog optical keyboard aimed at super gaming enthusiasts. Compact, essential and designed for high performance, the new keyboard packs Razer’s flagship technologies into a compact tenkeyless form factor, without a numeric keypad.
The heart of the Huntsman V3 is represented by the Razer Gen 2 analog optical switches, which detect inputs with extreme precision by measuring the passage of light through the switch stem along the entire actuation travel. Individually lubricated switches and internal foam damping ensure smoother operation and reduced noise.
The absence of physical contact and immunity to magnetic interference promise a stable response even in the most prolonged sessions and during sequences of close inputs.
There is also Rapid Trigger: technology that allows a button to reset and activate again as soon as it is lifted, without having to return to the initial rest position. This allows for repeated, ultra-fast presses and more responsive movements in games.
8,000Hz HyperPolling technology allows the Huntsman V3 to transmit commands up to eight times faster than conventional gaming keyboards, minimizing latency and ensuring near-instant synchronization between typed input and on-screen action.
The activation point, the sensitivity of the Rapid Trigger and the Snap Tap function (technology that eliminates reaction times when changing direction in shooting games) are adjustable directly on the device, with visual feedback on the row of numeric keys that confirms the changes in real time. Your favorite settings are stored on the keyboard itself, eliminating any dependency on external software. Razer Synapse Web further extends this control through a lightweight, entirely browser-based interface, with no installation required. It allows players to load and save their onboard profiles wherever they are.
