The Russian Ministry of Defense has published two lists containing names and addresses of companies located in Europe and the Middle East accused of producing Ukrainian attack drones and related components for use in the war in Ukraine. There is also Italy: the two lists, entitled respectively “Branches of Ukrainian companies in Europe” and “Foreign companies producing components”, highlight 21 potential industrial sites distributed in various cities, including London, Munich, Riga, Vilnius, Prague, Madrid, Haifa. The list arrives just as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting Europe with allied governments, as happened with Giorgia Meloni in Rome.
Medvedev: “They are potential targets for the Russian army”
Dmitry Medvedev, vice-president of the Russian Security Council and former president of the Federation, commented on the publication of the lists in a post on the social network X, openly calling them “a list of potential targets for the Russian armed forces”.
Russian Defense Ministry’s statement must be taken literally: the list of European facilities which make drones & other equipment is a list of potential targets for the Russian armed forces. When strikes become a reality depends on what comes next. Sleep well, European partners!

In his message, Medvedev added: “When the attacks will become a reality depends on what happens in the future. Sleep peacefully, European partners.”
“European leadership is increasing drone supplies to Ukraine”
On its official Telegram channel, the Russian Ministry of Defense states that based on available information “the leadership of some European countries, against the background of increasing losses and worsening personnel shortages of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has made the decision to increase the production and supplies to Ukraine of drones for conducting attacks on the territory of Russia.”
The increase in drone production would be favored by more “financing to ‘Ukrainian’ and ‘joint’ enterprises located on the territory of European countries for the production of attack drones and their components”. Hence the risk of “a sharp escalation of the political-military situation on the entire European continent and the creeping transformation of these countries into Ukraine’s strategic rear”.
“The realization of the scenarios of terrorist attacks against Russia announced by representatives of the Kiev regime, with the use of supposedly ‘Ukrainian’ but European-produced drones, leads to unpredictable consequences. Instead of strengthening the security of European states, the actions of European rulers are dragging these countries ever faster into a war with Russia.”
The list of factories that help Ukraine with drones: where they are in Italy
The ministry said it published the lists because European citizens not only need to understand the true causes of threats to their security, but also know the addresses and locations of “Ukrainian” and “joint” enterprises producing drones and components for Ukraine on their territory.
The published list includes 11 subsidiaries of alleged “Ukrainian companies producing drones and components.” As can be seen from the table below, the majority would be concentrated in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Baltics.

Companies that supply drone components: where they are in Italy and what they do
There are also ten other companies that would supply components for Ukrainian military drones. Among these, four are in Italy, accused of supplying Kiev with piston engines with power between 60 and 170 horsepower. In particular, Cmd Avio of Venice, MWfly of Garbagnate Milanese (Milan), EpaPower of Omegna (Verbania Cussio Ossola) and Gilardoni of Mandello del Lario (Lecco) are mentioned. The other six companies are based in Germany (3W Professional), Spain (Navigation UAV) and the Czech Republic (Pbs), as well as Israel (Elsight) and Turkey (Tualcom and Dow Aksa).

In fact, according to what appears to the Ageei Aerospazionews agency, the four Italian companies indicated by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are active in the aeronautical propulsion sector. The Venetian Cmd Avio is the division of the Cmd Group (Diesel Engine Construction) and deals with the production of engines for ultralight aircraft and general aviation.
The Milanese MWfly produces the Spirit family of aeronautical engines, which can be used for light aircraft, helicopters and even drones. The Piedmontese EpaPower has in its catalog a series of piston engines used on small aircraft and helicopters. Finally, the Lecco-based Gilardoni Vittorio produces aluminum cylinders with chrome-plated barrels for use in high-efficiency engines, including for aeronautical applications. No comments so far from these four companies.
