Lots of attention for Samsung’s next smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The brand new device, which will be part of the new Galaxy S25 range, should be released at the beginning of 2026, probably in January, and there is great anticipation. It seems that a Galaxy Unpacked event is planned which will serve to launch the product globally.
But what do we know at the moment? The first thing to catch your eye when viewing the images released by Samsungis the structure of the device. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be equipped with three main sensors positioned vertically in a sort of raised island, on the rear side. To these are added two other modules, positioned a little further to the right. There is also accommodation for the S Pen. On the front side, however, the screen dominates, large and flat, with very little frame and the front camera.
The new Smartphone will have a display 6.8 inch AMOLED. There will then be an adaptive refresh rate up to 120 Hz. We then await confirmation for the QHD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass protection. The three rear cameras will be 200 megapixel main + ultra-wide angle + 3x tele + 5x/10x periscope tele + additional sensor; the front one, however, will have a single sensor in a central hole.
Equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 series processor (but which can also be an Exynos), Galaxy S26 will have a memory up to 16 GB of RAM, and internal storage of up to 1TB. Everything will be supported by an approximately 5,000 mAh battery. The dimensions of the device should be 163.4×77.9×7.9 mm, with a weight of 217g.
The smartphone should be offered in three colors: silver, gold and orange.
A color, the latter, which is causing discussion, because it seems similar to the iPhone 17 Pro (Max). Furthermore, since it is a leak, it does not mean that the colors correspond to reality: therefore, to have a clearer idea, all that remains is to wait for confirmation.
Very, very, very likely nothing but some other AI generated #GalaxyS26Ultra pics IMO… pic.twitter.com/DQIx11q2eE
