Smart Ring, Smartwatches, AI Foldable Smartphones. What Samsung Introduced

The day has come. Samsung is the first of the tech giants to launch a smart ring. The long-awaited Galaxy Ring was presented today, a new wearable device that promises to revolutionize the world of wearables. But that’s not all. During the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, the Korean company also unveiled two new smartwatches – the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra – two new foldable smartphones – the Galaxy Z Fold6 and the Galaxy Z Flip6 – and the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro earphones. All powered by a new artificial intelligence experience.

Just think of the foldables on which Galaxy AI finds a new dimension, thanks to the dual display of Z Fold6 or the “Flex Windows” of Z Flip6. “Samsung’s long history of innovation has allowed us to become a leader in the mobile sector, first by creating the foldable design and, later, by inaugurating the era of mobile AI”, explained TM Roh, head of the Mobile eXperience Business division of Samsung Electronics, “Now, we are excited to combine these two technologies in a complementary way and offer new possibilities for users around the world”. The design of the devices is what Samsung has accustomed us to, even if – they assure – the new products are the thinnest and lightest in the range. A lot of care for materials and resistance, with the choice of using aluminum for the body and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the displays. In both cases, performance is ensured by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, optimized – thanks also to the presence of an NPU – for AI.

And if for smartphones Samsung focuses on tools that can make everyday life easier from the office to vacation, with wearable devices health and wellness are at the center. Through its products, the Korean company promises to give the user a series of information and a “score” with which to improve – or at least try to – the quality of their life. “The intelligence, guidance and analysis offered by Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra will help users transform data into meaningful insights and create a new era of intelligent health monitoring experiences”, Rho explained. The functions of Samsung Health have also been enhanced, which are also enriched by data on movement during sleep and skin temperature, as well as heart rate and breathing and which, thanks to Galaxy AI, can provide new suggestions for wellness. All the new smartwatches will run WearOs5, the most updated version of the Android operating system, customized by Samsung.

Galaxy Watch 7

Samsung’s most famous smartwatch has reached its seventh version. In addition to the functions already present on the other models in the line, the Galaxy Watch 7 is equipped with a more powerful chip, a 3nm processor, a three times faster CPU and an application processor energy efficiency improved by 30%., in addition to a dual-frequency GPS system that allows you to detect your position with greater precision. The aluminum structure and the circular design remain in two sizes (with a 44 or 40 mm case), but new straps arrive – including a wave design and colored details – and new dials. The larger version is available in Green and Silver, while the other in Green and Cream. Both models will be on sale from today at a price ranging from 319 euros (bluetooth) and 369 euros (LTE) for the 40mm models to 349 euros (bluetooth) and 399 euros (LTE) for the larger one. Until July 23rd you can have a super evaluation of your used device up to 50 euros. You can also get a free Pink Withe strap with the small version and a Navy one with the larger one.

Galaxy Watch Ultra

For sports lovers – even the most extreme – comes the Galaxy Watch Ultra. It also has a circular cushion design, 47 mm case and physical crown, grade 4 titanium structure and – although not waterproof – 10ATM water resistance. Not only that. This smartwatch also works in extreme situations, up to 9 thousand meters above sea level or up to 500 meters below sea level. It also provides a wide range of multi-discipline workouts, which can also be controlled via the new quick button. There is no shortage of safety systems, such as an emergency siren that can be activated with a single touch. It also promises a battery life of up to 100 hours if set to energy saving mode and 48 hours in training energy saving mode. It is available in the colors Titanium Gray, Titanium White and Titanium Silver at a recommended price of 699 euros. In this case, used can be valued up to 150 euros and you can have a Dark Gray Trial strap as a gift

Galaxy Ring

But if we are now used to a smart watch on our wrist, the real novelty – perhaps the most anticipated – is in the Galaxy Ring, the intelligent and discreet ring that miniaturizes sensors to constantly monitor our health. The grade 5 titanium finish, but concave surface and weight between 2.3 and 3 grams promise durability and comfort that allows for prolonged use. Samsung also ensures a battery life of up to a week and water resistance of 10 ATM. Sold in three color variants, Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold, and nine different sizes, the package also includes a case for quick charging and personalized assistance 24 hours a day. The functions are mostly those present on the watch, heart rate, automatic workout detection, inactivity alert, body temperature (which also allows you to monitor your menstrual cycle), snoring analysis, etc. In addition, with a double tap on the Ring you can take a photo or deactivate the alarm on your smartphone. It will hit the market on July 24, with pre-orders available in some countries starting today.

Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Flip6

With the Z series, AI is definitely the master, able to make the most of the large screen of the Fold6 and the versatility of the Filp6 thanks to the Flex Window. Especially in the workplace, with a series of functions that allow you to compose texts – even with a banal photo of a sign -, transcribe them, translate them, organize them, summarize them and even create images from text drawn by hand or with the S Pen. This is also thanks to a now consolidated partnership with Google and the integration of Gemini in the new devices of the Z series. The now well-established Circle and Search already launched on previous devices is a must. The Interpreter function is interesting, allowing the simultaneous translation of a conversation into two different languages. Or the Live Translation function, which translates phone calls directly on the device in real time and which is now also extended to other calling apps, in addition to the native Samsung one. There is also a lot of space for photo processing, both for shooting and for editing. In addition to the top-of-the-range optics, in fact, thanks to artificial intelligence, it will be easier to frame a subject, photograph it and then rework the image as best as possible for an excellent result. In the case of the Flip6, the Flex Cam also introduces automatic zoom that automatically finds the best frame for the subject. Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 are available starting today. Galaxy Z Fold6 is available in the colors Silver Shadow, Pink and Navy, while Galaxy Z Flip6 is also available in the color options Silver Shadow, Yellow, Blue and Mint. Or you can choose between the shades exclusively on Samsung Shop Online and at the Samsung Experience Store located in the Il Centro shopping center in Arese: Crafted Black and White for Galaxy Z Fold6, and Crafted Black, White and Peach for Galaxy Z Flip6. Prices for the Z Fold6 range from 2099 euros for the 12GB + 256GB version to 2459 euros for the one with 1TB of memory, passing through the 2219 euros of the 512GB configuration. For the Z Flip6 there are two configurations: 256 GB of memory (1279 euros) or 512 GB (1399 euros) are added to the 12 GB of RAM. Until July 23rd included, you can have a super evaluation of your used device, obtaining up to 780 euros. To which are added a 100 euro discount on your cart and 12 months of free Samsung Care+ protection for accidental damage.

Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

But AI also finds a new field of application in earphones. On the new devices, it will be possible to activate the simultaneous translation of what you are listening to, in addition to an optimization of the sound both in output and input. Furthermore, voice control allows the use of earphones without using your hands. The elegant blade design that integrates LED lights promises a more intuitive experience. Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are equipped with advanced hardware, including 2-way speakers improved And double amplifiers.

Improved sound quality even in phone calls thanks to a pre-trained model based on machine learning that eliminates background noise and makes the call more natural. The Galaxy Buds3 series is available today at a price of 179 euros for Buds3 and 249 euros for Buds3 Pro.
